Parts source anyone?

Yes, I am new. Thanks for asking.

I have recently come into possession of two Steven's 12ga.

One is a model 260b full choke,

the other is a model 311 (?) fullxmodified.

Both are in need of firing pins. the 260b has one in it, but the end is clearly bent. The 311 has one in the full, but no the modified.

Who is a reputable/reasonably quick source for parts for these?

Both were made in the 60's.

They have an export license, and as long as the manufacturer of the parts is registered for export, and the items are under $100 you are good.

next question- is the model 260 and 260b the same thing? I can't find a pin for the 260b, but the 260 is there. Where do I find that info?

They will be almost half the price of the 311 by the time Numrich sends them here. Do you know anyone with a small lathe? They wouldn't be that hard to make. I know some people have made them using a drill press and dremel grinders.

I do know a number of machinists, and I'm pretty good with a dremel, but for the time and effort to get it right, I'd rather get OEM/direct aftermarket parts or at the very least someone with lots of experience to do this for me.

These guns are now 'family heirlooms', and I wouldn't want to do anything to damage them (other than use them).

That is where they get you. They charge a 25.00 handling fee plus their regular shipping to send to canada. On 24.00 it is 7.50 plus the 25.00 That is why I save up and send a full order when I do get stuff from them.Their limit is 200 also.
