Where are the best suppliers for upgrade and replacement rifle parts (new and used) for the M305/M14? I'm especially interested in suppliers in Western Canada, but also those with good selections, good prices and surplus parts? Is importing from Fulton Armories a practical option?

Any insights appreciated.

Hungry here: Fulton Armories will not sell to Canadians! Bummer!

Brownells has a number of parts that are sub $100, so you should be able to get them here relatively easily. Also, a number of board sponsors carry M1A/M14 parts.

Barney: 762mmfirearms will ship up to $200 for sure, perhaps more, but all my orders to date have been just shy of the $200 mark - no problems so far.

just a heads up if you plan on ordering from brownells, they wont ship sadlak op spring guides as they are not registered for export or some s**t

so im getting a bedding kit and a spring.... awesome

I should probably ask if this tartan guide will work with a wolfe spring or not? thanks

Thanks for all this good information; very useful when starting out!

If anyone else has a good source or tips on importing or sourcing parts, then please add them to this list for future reference.

"...importing from Fulton Armories..." No exports through them. M-14 parts require the U.S. export permit and Fulton won't do it.

You can get the Sadlak parts from Fabsports here in Canada.

The Tartan guide should work with both GI and Chinese aprings, as will the Marstar version.
