Was asked by a friend the other day if party hunting for deer with a bow is allowed. He thought it wasnt, but is allowed for deer as long as the others can be communicated with, which I agreed. Now I think you can party hunt for deer, why not right? But before he helps his father fill his tag, I wanted to be sure they can do that. So can it be done in Ont.?

Sure, the info is in the Regs, make sure he reads it all, especially the conditions:

yes you can it is very good way to move deer past a shooter .if one or two guys walk down wind off a deer bedding area letting there smell drift down into the beding area you have to go very slow .if you can post a shooter a ways down the escape root say 100 yards or more from the bedding area the der should be walking when thy go by and then you can make the shot .most guys that try this endup setting up way to close to the cover and the deer go out at 100 mph only to slow down when thy have reached the other side of the feild and look back that is were the shooter needs to be DUTCH

Party hunting is perfectly legal as long as everyone has bought a liscence, you have to be able to communicate with each other(cell, radio, etc...) , and you must be with in a 5K radius of hunting with each other.
