Hi!

does anybody here uses pat marlins's checkmaker dies? How long does it takes to get them? i'm waiting for my dies for about 6 weeks, after complaining directly to the seller and hearing something looking like total BS nothing comes in the mail... Am i the only one here who have the feeling of being scammed by this guy?

The guy is a complete idiot. Promises about a week delivery, which usually take 5-6 weeks.

I will never buy from him again. Asked about delivery time on castboolits and got piled on by all the PM but lickers.

Get a Freechex, Charlie is top shelf.

Btw I was so disgusted with the operation I made my own check maker and sold my PM check maker at a loss just to get rid of it.

I get all wound up...I could go on...serenity now, Serenity now, SERENITY NOW!!

the dies finally vshowed up... i found them costly... they dont even work properly... i will need to modify a primer ram to get them to work... Where do you find aluminium sheets to make checks? Do 0.012'' aluminium will do the job?

So, I was wondering how you made out with the check maker?

I understand that Charlie who makes the other style of dies, is going out of business. I bought a Pat Marlin tool despite the negative feedback, thinking that when Pat is the only manufacturer on the playing field, that things will only get worse.

I have been through a lot of frustration recently with different gas check sellers and have decided to see if I could make my own.

So it goes.

Charlie is going out of business! That's too bad, he is top notch! Great guy to deal with, I purchased a few freechex 3 in various calibers. In combo with a arbour press is a great system. Glad to see yomamma is picking up the torch.
