Patchy Finish on NEA Barrel

1st World Problems
no one complains on the finish of an AK
Third world problems, but third word prices.
the real question is does the OP have an issue with it??
If he/she does then its a problem, if not then its good to go.
It been said a few times, the product will perform very well, so its up to the OP to work it out

Anybody would have a problem with that barrel... It looks like crap... Receiving that POS I'd be insulted.

Why don't they ship them lightly rusted on the outside or maybe another model with scratches everywhere. Doesn't change anything eh !

Is ARC+ processing supposed to look like that? Says it's their proprietary treatment process. I can't find any info on this type of processing so maybe this is what ARC+ treatment looks like as opposed to nitride treatment?

The ARC treatment is a light grey finish, the nitride is supposed to be black. Nitriding over the ARC gives us this new industrial camo mess lol

I've never had a problem with a NEA barrel. If you're buying a gun just for looks I would recommend one of those gold plated ones.

I got to handle one of Saddam's Iraqi built gold plated AK's when I visited the UK Pattern Room. Close up it was shockingly awful. It looked like it had been machined by retarded monkeys. And I bet it worked just as good as it looked.

I have not been a huge fan of the ARC finish but it is hard to argue with the performance of these barrels at the price.
