How about some specs on this beauty?

Man I could post guns all day. They are some what mine. I own Patriot Arms. I build stuff all the time for myself it's just hard to keep them because everyone wants to buy them. My last 6.5-284 I took to a comp never even made it home after some people saw it shoot.

The target rifle list of goodies is as follows:
BAT 3 lug action
McMillan F-Class stock
Broughton barrel
Our break
Jewel trigger
The rings I polished chrome just for giggles
Caliber is what I call a 7mm Bat (WSM variant)

I'd tell ya how it shoots but number one you probably wouldn't believe me and number two I don't want to sound like I'm boasting. I will say this though. If the right person sits on the bench next to you at a comp with this rifle you better have your A game on.;)

Here is another one. I just took this one to South Dakota for a hunt. Shot this one at 925 yards with a cross wind gusting from 3 o'clock at 20-30 mph. My farthest kill by far. I don't really recommend trying to kill things that far away but it is what it is. I didn't want to let him go and I guess lady luck was sitting on my shoulder that day.
Caliber is a 22-243 Ackley improved.

The last gun in the other photos is the 338 Lapua I'm bringing up to do some shooting / hunting with BigBully in about a month. Bring'n my 308 mannlicher for the more realistic stuff.

I get some good practice. I'm not quite a Canadian just yet but I'm working on getting to that level. My shooting skills aren't up to par with my gun building but I promise ya you'll know your getting shot at if we where having a two way shooting match.:D :D :D
Dave and I shoot our pistols at 400-500 for kicks. We really do shoot alot......It's what we do every day. It gets old sometimes so we are always looking for new ways to challenge ourselves. Here is some photos from our last match. If this stuff won't challenge you nothing will.

365 yard shot on an 8" disk on that angle. No range finders allowed. You must calculate range and then correct for your angle. This shot had to be shot unsupported.

So remember all you frisky Canadians......always practice safe shooting. Don't drink and shoot. Accidents may occur. You might spill your beer on your weapon.

Nice shooting spot. It looks familiar. Is it at a Farm owned by an X US Army Precision Tradesman who now teaches courses and hosts shooting events? The layout of the land looks like pictures I have seen before and a location I had considdered taking a holiday and course a few years back.

As for your comment there, I would recomend if coming up here hunting you cut back your beer consumption by 50% or you may have such an accident. We put alcohol in our beer!!:p :p :p :p :D

Can't help myself, sorry....I guess this is borderline Yankee Bashing.;) :) But I pick on everyone.

Those are some beautiful firearms my friend. Great work, you should be proud! Feel free to post more of those pics when time allows!
