I shot 3 brands, Remington Reduced Recoil, Federal Reduced Recoil, and Federal regular 1 oz slugs.

I'm confused which brand I should go with. I had one flyer with the Federal reduced recoils at 25 meters. And for some reason I kept pulling the shots at 50 meters. I was shooting IC choke out of a Mossberg 500. I'm leaning towards the Federal Reduced Recoil or Remington Reduced Recoil slugs. What do you guys recommend?

At 25m, I shot 3 slugs each, and at 50m I shot 2 slugs each.

Shot my very first deer today. Black-tail doe. 20 yards, Federal reduced recoil 1oz slug at 20 yards using Mossberg 500 and bead sights!

I am issued low recoil shotgun ammo and I don't really have much use for it. I have found the low recoil buckshot especially underpowered on things like wild boars, coyotes, etc. Imperial SSG was dynamite on anything, as was the Imperial 7/8 oz extra long range slugs we used to carry. They hit like freight trains.

Today, I really like Winchester Power Point slugs. I cannot get over how accurate they are and I get an honest 1650 fps (as per my chrony) out of a smooth bore slug barrel (duty shotgun). The Challenger slugs are also great, but I don't have the experience with them to back anything up.
