I'm working toward scoping my Grunig .308, and just picked it up from Paul Reiben of RangeSports Unlimited in Kamloops, who installed this 15MOA base. As you can see from the pictures, what started out as a one piece aluminum base, had to be cut in 2 to accommodate the rather large receiver opening. Paul had to work with the factory drilled holes, and you can see he did a beautiful job. I asked him who made the base, and he said a "gentleman from Victoria, who has now passed away" made up a "whack" of them for Grunig & Elmiger rifles. I should have asked for the guys name. My apologies for the fuzziness of some of the pics.

The gang up here are fans of Paul and his work. I've seen some really nice pieces come back from his shop, from sporters to full house target rigs.

He was a friend of my late father; they shot together and competed in Switzerland with the Canadian Swiss team. After my Dad passed away, Mom had Paul take the remainder of his collection (after us boys had picked out what we wanted) for sale.
When I told him I'd realized that once I get a scope on, I'd be needing a hard case for it, he said he has some. That's where I'll be buying it.
