Pc9 last round bolt open not working

So recently noticed my last round bolt hold open has stopped working. Tried after market and original Glock 19 mags.
Gonna take it apart and give it a good cleaning.
Anyone experience this or can give me a heads up what to look out for?

This is hardly conclusive but this happened to me once earlier this afternoon when I was shooting off hundreds of shots in quick succession. Maybe it is coincidence, but once I let the gun cool down a bit - took a break and talked with some of the other range members and shot the breeze - came back and everything was working again. Again, could be coincidence.

I shot 3100 rounds through 2 ruger pc carbines, once did 300 rounds in under an hour. Never had an issue locking back. Few stovepipes, twice had a failure to fire which I could attest to hard primers, Russian steel case ammo, 2nd attempt to fire them, both went off.

Check the magwell insert, I heard they don't like the mags being slammed in.

OEM Glock mags don't seem to engage as well as the Pmags. Stick with Magpul.

Found why. So the mag isn't sitting in far enough to catch the bolt lock. Room gun apart cleaned. Found mag very loose. When applying pressure to the bottom of the mag bolt locks open no problem. So either the mag release is worn or the mag adapter is
