Hey all,
Received my swiss arms thursday. Shoots good, looks good, no complaints. Well, almost none. I feel some kind of play between the upper and the lower, and I can see light between the twos. Now, I never owned or fired guns with an upper and a lower receiver so maybie this is only normal and I'm just paranoid. But to me a 3k rifle should be hard as a rock. Educate me!!

Does not affect anything. There's certainly less play than in an AR15, I didn't notice anything wrong with mine. Now how about some pictures?

It shouldn’t affect anything. I’ve had AR’s with lots of play and AR’s with ZERO play; they both shot about the same.

I’ve shot the Swiss Arms before and they are beautiful.

I’ve always wanted one but could never afford it.

Cheers,

The play between the upper and lower is normal and does not affect accuracy on either the PE90 or the AR15 for that matter, gadgets like Accuwedges and such are crappy gimicks that the uninformed out there buy and later discover there is no difference in accuracy, but alot more wear on uppers and lowers...rest easy and get shooting

What he said !

Congrats on the purchase !

Oh man do I feel better:) I knew that had to be normal, but in the same time my CZ-858 is rock solid so I wondered.... ( Please don't go on the SIG vs. CZ that was just an example :D)

Your CZ is a single piece receiver that utilizes a top cover. The swiss is a two piece receiver with (as you know) separate upper and lower halves. Shoot the poop out of it and enjoy!

p.s. ooooh how I luff my OD GreenStar(previously smurf blue/YUCKERS) ... ;)

I don't think your internet connection can take that kind of punishment. If it's anything like Iqaluit (768Kbit satellite), I'd just read a book instead... :D
