I wonder if Pedersoli will have a prototype of their proposed Baker rifle at this years
Shot Show.I ve been saving my pennies hoping they will finally bring one out
 
I really can t see the baker being any more expensive than the current standard Pedersoli Mortimer rifle.The Baker is not really a complicated gun compared to some out there.To make one extremely expensive especially in todays market would be a big mistake as they would probably sell very few.I would think here in Canada it would probably be from $2200 to$3000 at the most.Done right at a reasonable price they would sell like hotcakes
 
These will be a limited run is my understanding on the matter. Wonder if they’ll be historically correct. The Bess sure isn’t.
 
I really can t see a limited run being worth the tooling and other production costs even if they charged a high price for them.Pedersoli is also known for making high grade versions of their standard grade guns so this maybe is what they will do.Given the interest in the Baker and if done right a Baker from $2000 to $3000 would sell like hotcakes.I don t think people will pay big money for a non exact copy of a Baker rifle
