I have one that was in the mix my siblings and I were fighting over when my dad passed... not the type of sibling battle you'd expect... "you're going to take this one aren't you... it was one of his favorites and you'll keep it and use it..." the three of us did this with a lot of his stuff. Anyway I ended up with his Gibbs, I'd made a tang sight for him and some different sizing dies for it. It shot very well for him but it hasn't made it up the list of rifles for me to spend time with yet, still have several cartridge rifles in the mix consuming my spare time. It's better built than most Pedersoli's I've been around, only have about 3 others of this brand. The fit and finish on this one is nice and like I said, he shot it fairly well even into his late 70's.
