I recently picked up a Model 94 AE. Chances are it will wear a scope someday, but I think I'd like to try a peep on it at some point. Trouble is, it doesn't look as if it's D&T'ed for it - at least it lacks the usual two holes on the left of the receiver.

Is there a peep sight that mounts on top of the AE receiver in the scope mount holes instead?

XS Sights has a rear peep for it using the existing mounting holes on the top of the receiver.

I use the One Hole sight (formerly One Ragged Hole) from Warren Custom Outdoor. Works great. Bolts onto the existing rear sight. Takes 30 seconds to install. Does not clutter up your receiver like the other products. Very elegant solution.

How is the accuracy compared to a receiver sight? I like the look of it...

Accuracy with the One Hole sight is pretty good. Good enough for hunting for sure. I like that the aperture is quite large. Helps in low light conditions. And I really like having a clean receiver which preserves the classic Win94 look.
