Peep sights for Browning BLR

I'm looking for some input on a peep sight for my pre-81 BLR, I had installed a set of fire sight on the rifle last year and was never comfortable with them holding a zero after pulling the rifle in and out of the gun boot on the quad after a week of hunting. Looking at the Skinner sights or XS sight for a replacement, and was looking some input from anyone using a set.

I was looking for a peep for mine as well. I don't think anyone makes one specifically for the BLR, but I think I remember seeing one that was made for a Browning BAR, it will work, but will hang slightly over the rear of the receiver.

Skinner and XS both list sights for the BLR, and from looking the XS come as a set with a front post.

I drilled and tapped the side of the frame on mine and used a Williams from a Marlin lever. Works great!
Williams or Lyman for a Marlin or 94 Winchester will work.
