Finally getting around to shooting my XS28M to break it in a zero it for pest control this coming spring / summer. I love the front sight as it is a sturdy hood with anschutz style inserts and comes with a nice pointed insert but the rear sight is very floppy and loose. I'm thinking a good Williams foolproof sight on the rear scope rail would do wonders for accuracy with such a long sight radius. Anyone done the same and what model of sight did you use?
My rifle has an aluminum dovetail base on it for .22 scope rings so I imagine that I could use a sight meant for a dovetail as long as it clears the receiver radius.
