Just got a new loading bench that has pegboard built in (mastercraft - on for $99)

Anyone use pegboard on their loading bench?

Curious what hooks your using and what you keep on them...

Thanks
Merry Christmas...

Here's my bench... Mastercraft workbench as well but I doubled up the counter.

I bought extra pegoard hooks from CT as well. Home Depot and Lowe's peg hooks cost 2x as much as the CT ones. Don't get the double hooks. They don't fit this sized pegboard holes.

I keep pegboard on the wall away from the bench. I find if it is on the bench it tends to look and get too cluttered. Your loading bench should be kept as free from clutter as possible. If you have to root thru your bench to find stuff that's where mistakes get made

I remember my dad using a black Sharpy to painstakingly trace every single tool and item on his leg board to create a "shadow board". It helped the whole situation look a little more organized. The bench may get covered from time to time, but it's clear that everything has a home.

Unfortunately, his son is a little less organized. I just haven't found the perfect tool layout yet... That Sharpy seems like a pretty big commitment. ;-)

As for hooks, ctc sells them. Get the ones that plug into at least 2 holes each. Get the heavier guage ones that are just bare metal. Avoid the chromed ones as they don't fit as snuggly. The little plastic clips they come with are useless and take up extra holes. I've got a few dozen of them laying on my floor at the base of the wall.

Thanks guys.
Ill hit CT for some hooks.
While browsing I saw a neat tip.

Drill hole in bottom of peanut butter jar and then hang on single hook.
looks like good way to label and store my bulk projectiles.

Pills are pretty heavy, you'll probably rip or sag that cheap pegboard.
