Pelicans on Green Lake

Three Pelicans circled around Moose Island yesterday, and put down in back of it.

Pelicans have only visited Green Lake maybe 3 times in recent memory, (according to the old timers) and always heading south - this is the first time anyone can remember seeing them on the lake heading north. Very cool.

I just saw green lake a couple weeks ago nice lake and the eagles that were there was amazing there were probably 50-60 of them
pelicans though are a fish killing pain in the @ss (not that the eagles arent but at least the eagles are cool)

Maybe they are being disturbed too much on Pelican Lake and have decided to look for somewhere else to live.

been camping at green lake a few times and have seen herons but never pelicans in the area. You are talking about the green lake just east of 70 mile house right?

Pelicans are nothing special, the place is maggoty with them. Anyway they taste like loon, are too big to eat at one sitting and even the dog won't eat the leftovers.
