Pendersoli rolling block rifles

Anyone handled or used one of these rifles? Quality? Worth the cash? Thanks!

Good quality but the octagonal barrel versions can be a tad heavy for hunting unless you hunt from a stand that said my Browning 1886 rifle is no light weight to carry all day either but I do it and actually enjoy lugging it around

I've had one in 45-70 since.....hmmm, way back in the day..... I just mail ordered it from the US of A back then, nothing to it. I remember because it came in the mail in two packages. Anyway, it's been a great rifle. Only shot with blackpowder. Favorite bullet is the Lyman 457125.

The Pedersoli rifles are quality units for sure. Well fitted with cut rifled barrels & very accurate with hardcast loads. My 86/71 lever rifle was a well built rifle
that carried & handled well in the woods. Shot spot-on with my hardcast loads. I'm tempted to get a Pedersoli rolling block in 45 Colt, but I'll wait to see what
winter brings before going fer it.
