I have a 3-9x40 coming in the mail soon. Managed to find an ebay seller that ships to Canada. Picked it up for $99 + $15 S&H USD. I was going to pick up another Nikon, but I thought I'd give this one a try for the .30-06.

I like Burris...so this is excellent news if it is indeed the case. Cheers.

Received it in the mail today...and for the price, so far I have to admit that it is a very nice scope optically. Very clear and bright, and the ballistic plex reticle is very sharp. As for its durability, we'll see how it fares in the long run...I haven't had the chance to mount it yet because the scope is too short to span the gap between the rings on my Savage 111 FL .30-06.

And on the bottom of the scope in very faint and small letters..."China".
