Pentax Pf-80 or Pf-65 Which one?

Hi there, anyone have any experience using these scopes for primarily field judging game during typical peak hunting hours? I am going to get one of these, I just don't know which. I like the 65 for its compactness, and love the 80 for every other reason. Any input is appreciated!

I have a buddy who owns an 80mm Pentax scope...I assume it's the same one you mean. It is a fantastic scope for target use, birding, or digiscoping...but I couldn't even imagine lugging that monstrous thing around while hunting. It's bulky and heavy, and its size requires the use of a hefty tripod as well.

I have the PF-80 and can verify it is a wonderful scope. But it is quite a bit larger and heavier than the PF-65 and would not be my first choice for any application that required carrying it any distance.

Right on Guys, Thanks for the input! I really like the 80 (it is an amazing scope for the money), but like the compactness of the 65. I am concerned about the dusk and dawn performance of the 65 though........Especially compared to the 80!
