A friend sent along this link (suitably chilled because they are a non-sponsoing dealer)

http://www.perazzicanada.com/

Has anyone done business with them? Does anyone know the owners?

One of the partners Jonathan Weselake is on the Can. skeet shooting team. Not sure of the other gentleman.
There may be fancier and more expensive guns around but you would be hard pressed to find one that handles better than a Perazzi. I hope they do well with the Company. It's nice to see new dealers opening rather than closing in Canada.

Ive only once had the privilege of shooting a 12g Perazzi. It is one of the reasons I have a love for over/unders. Thats by far the nicest shotgun ive ever fired and I swear ill own one, someday. For now I wish this new company the best, and hopefully they will still be open when I can afford one.

how much is that doggy in the window....arf arf :(

where did you shoot that gun?

Thankfully i have never held a Perazzi that fit. Think of the thousands of dollars that saved me.
On a more serious note, I have a friend that had a terrible experience with Perazzi USA, I hope they give service that is equal to the quality of the gun.

IN 2008 I ATTENDED THE SHOTSHOW AND WENT TO THE PERRAZZI BOOTH AND SAW THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SHOTGUNS I EVER SAW:eek: I WANTED ATLEAST ONE 28 GAUGE, BUT SADLY COULD ONLY AFFORD THERE FACTORY CATALOGE WICH IS A TREAT IN ITSELF TO PERRUSE!!! I AM GLAD A FEW OF YOU OWN OR HAVE HAD THE PRIVLEDGE TO SHOOT THESE FINE SHOTGUNS, DALE IN T-BAY

Perazzi Canada

Johnathon and Andy are a couple of respectable gentlemen that i feel will do very well, they have taken over a business that has been run down by a previous owners reputation but am sure they will provide good service with competitive pricing.

I Owned a Perazzi Mx8 for about 6yrs during the 80's shot international trap and ATA trap with it In my opinion over rated could not trust it inherit problems with triggers and action lever springs you would be running a good score and it would start to play head games with you never new when it would fail.Went back to a Competition grade 3200

If you don't have confidence in your gun then it's time to change. I had a K-gun that would double occasionally and then developed a headspace problem.

Perazzi went to a simpler single spring top lever system in the 90's. They also offer the MX8 in removable coil, removable leaf and fixed coil triggers configurations. I haven't found the leaf springs an issue however. You can usually tell when they are about to go before a problem arises. Replacing them is a breeze. I had a trigger spring break on a Krieghoff and was done for the day.

Any discussion of a competition gun is best done in context. I like Perazzis when measured against similarly-priced competitors such as the Beretta DT10, Krieghoff K-80, Kolar and perhaps Kemen. No guns is perfect but Perazzis get that little bit closer. If I were doing it again I'd seriously consider a Kolar or perhaps the Blaser. The Blaser may be the best bargain in a higher end clay target gun and has some interesting features the others don't have.

At the time I had my MX8 many people were shooting them I had seen a number of them with head space problems with not many rounds through them compared to say a superposed that had many yrs and many rounds over the perazzi.
