Rumour has it that a Canadian has shot a perfect score in a PPC 1500 match. I believe this would be a first. Any one care to chime in on this?
A perfect score requires incredible talent, total commitment and 1000% dedication. That is 150 shots all in the ten ring from varying distances out to 50 yds/mtrs.
 
Yep it is true. I saw it with my very own eyes! Literally! I shot the first ever recorded 1500 Duty Pistol match score in Dryden on Oct 1 2016. What a feeling to finally clean that match. I shot 1497 twice this season but just couldn't pick up those last couple points. And yes it was done with my G21!
 
Congrats Roly. How many x's? Lucky that Glock held together through 150 rounds LOL. Lots of guys can easily shoot that perfect score, they just don't have the time, don't want to waste all that ammunition, don't like shooting at the range, etc. etc. etc. You get the idea. Awesome! Whats next?
 
Hey Joe it was only 117X so I was down a bit LOL. They say it's better to shoot a 1500 with 1X then a 1499 with 149X. I'm surprised that plastic gun still shoots straight myself! I managed to win the European Open with it this summer as well so I must have a good one. Glock Perfection. The next step is Germany next August for the World champs. Fingers crossed!!!

My own record was 1469 with a stock Colt Python 6" in 1982.
Best I have seen : 1496 by a GM Vermont trooper....the 4 in the 9 probably the wind.

Lots of guys have tried but very few have succeeded. It certainly isn't that easy.
