So I am looking to pick up my first revolver and I have narrowed it down to just 2 guns

R8 and 627

I can’t decided so I thought id start a thread see what the boys think of my choices?

my dad went with the TRR8 because he didnt know if he wanted the rail on there all the time or not.

while i love my nice heavy 357 wheel guns i must admit the TRR8 is a beauty.

i think they only difference between the R8 and the TRR8 is the removable rail.

Like my 627, I prefer a little weight in my wheel guns.
Action sure is tight , trigger crisp..

I like the R8. It's a very nice revolver. Shoots well. But... since you're asking I'd say neither. My suggestion would be a 627 VComp. You will be happy you did.

I like the 627 as it feels like it’s built to last several lifetimes and I like the materials as there materials im familiar with.... however I go back and forth between the R8 because I have always wanted to build a modern clone of a MR73 Sniper but not sure if it’s worth it or will work...
