Permatex and Muzzle Brakes

I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts and experiences are with using blue thread locker on muzzle brakes. Can you use it with or without a crush washer?

You would be better served using shims to time/clock a brake/mzl device instead of a crush washer.

Blue LocTite is removable w/o heat.
Red LocTite will require heat to remove said device.
RockSet is removable w/ hot water.

Blue Loctite works fine on brake threads.... as do lock nuts.... as do jam nuts....

it works fine until you use it. locktite lets go with heat. ive been down that road before. you want a shim kit. just time it proper the first time and be done with it.
