Persian Mauser Iranian Model 49 Carbines?

Wondering who has one? I happen to be in the market and looking! It would be an excellent addition to my 8mm Mauser cartridge carbine collection!

I had one and made the mistake of letting it go to another member here. My recommendation would be to look at importing from the US, if you really want one.

I have one, the original Brno contract, not the later Iranian Model 49. Here it is compared to a standard K98k (BYF 43 if my memory is correct)

There were tons in 97 when SARCO brought them in.

Glad you enjoyed the pic. I have an almost complete set of Persians, the Brno contract long rifle (Mod 98/29, 1310), carbine (Mod 30, 1317) and VZ24. Just need an M49 like you !

I have one in very good condition. It cost me a lot. Still, comes with me to the range and hunting every chance I get. Workmanship on this gun is unreal, even next to my Swedish Mauser. and If you could call a gun beautiful, to me, this would be it.
