In the midst of purchasing a Glock 20. Factory ammunition available is pretty anemic so I think I will pick up dies and all that, do it myself. Anyone pushing the 180 or 200 Hornady HP around 1300\1200fps? It's pretty much what I want to do. Found a couple loads close but they dont list bullet type just weight. Any other interesting loads post 'em!

Accuracy load for me has been with a 165 Hornaday XTP in front of 4.5gr Bulleseye. I don't know the speed, just that it makes nice groups and isn't hard to handle.

IMR 800X and Blue Dot are my favorite powders for the 10mm.

Go to the 10mm Reloading section @ Glock Talk for the best 10mm load data.

My favorite load is 180g fmj 1.26oal w/9.6 grains of longshot. This is pretty close to a max load and turns my glock 20 and 29 into an absolute hand cannon throwing the 180g bullet out at a very consistant 1300fps with the g20.

Start with 8g of powder and work up!

Now thats what I am talking about, I plan on grabbing a 6" barrel as well. Is that what you are getting from the 4.6"?

Yes, that is with the factory bbl. I cronied 6 rds, slowest was 1296 fastest was 1305. I have never had that kind of consistancy with reloads before!

9.6grs IMR800X with 200gr XTP's will give you the same velocities...
