It is with great pleasure I get to announce the first Petawawa Fall Scramble PRS club match presented by the Petawawa Gun Club and Match Directed by Ryan McLean. With Petawawa being a good hike for most of us we are planning to make this a full weekend event. On the Saturday October 21st we will run an open practice all day, followed by Sunday match of 10 stages with target engagement from 300 yards to 660 yards.

This course of fire will be designed for all levels of shooters from beginners to the experienced with challenging shooting positions and 2 min time limits on most stages. We will encourage coaching for new shooters while on the clock. This will be a squad ROed match. So if you have experienced at ROing and want to be a squad leader let me know, you will shoot the match for free.#


Cost for the practice and match will be $110. If you only want to shoot the match the cost is $60. This must be paid in advance by EMT.

Registration will open August 25 at 6pm

Uhm .....caliber restrictions? I believe 223 and 308 and 338 LM....and 303!

Thanks Ryan ...Looking forward to this !! If anyone is bringing a restricted firearm let me know and I will send you out a letter of invitation then contact the CFO to get a STATT for the weekend. A STATT issued from the CFO is required as we are on a federal range. And if anyone wants maps of the base / local area or general info just send me your email address .

I want to push this match is designed to get new shooters into PRS and still Challange experienced one. We are planning run a full series of 4-6 Matchs next year. If you have any questions post them up, I am sure there are others with the same question.
 
Is there any chance this may become some sort of a re-occuring event? sadly the timing just doesn't work for me this time :(

If myself and 3 friends are signed up, can we request to be in the same squad? It makes it easier to do a little friendly ribbing. Lol
