I was planning on buying some lapua brass for my 6.5cm and noticed peterson brass. I looked at some reviews and notices there were a few negatives. These were right when the company started and since then i tjink the improved their QC. Anyone use this brass recently?

out of 200 cases I purchased, about 30 have really tight pockets of which perhaps 10 so tight I broke the handle on my lee handprimer.
there's an email address on the box they come in, to voice our concerns.
nobody ever replies!

I got 100, my observation was the weight varied too much for my liking, the flash hole deburr job was full of chatter, primer pockets as mentioned, and neck thickness was all over the place. Really no better then any Rem/Win/Fed brass, and ultimately I find surplus IVI to be better brass for accuracy and longevity if you want "cheap" match brass. You might have to swage, but the primer pockets are drilled and require no work.
Lapua/Norma are still at the top of the heap, nothing else really comes close.

That's ironic, given how they had to recall 2 lots of 6.5 Creedmoor brass with over-sized primer pockets....
