Petting a Mosse

Not every day but every few days there is one wandering around the house

Why can't I get pictures big anymore.

Holy moly...

I'm just hoping to see one this hunting season, forget petting it. I don't need to be that close to see it through my scope.

I don't know about you guys, but if I ever hear a moose in the woods that sounds like Jean Chretien....I can pretty much guaranty you it will not live for re-election. ;)

Pretty stupid standing right behind a back leg like that. Is it just me or does that moose not look the healthiest?

It looks sick and young. Yes, he is lucky he didn't catch a hoof in the balls. Or get the everloving ####e stomped out of him. Petting it on the face was the stupidest part. I bet her jaws would be powerful enough to take his fingers off.

I would say brainworm. Makes moose unpredictable, docile, slow, unsteady on their legs and generally unafraid of humans. Like was said before - it's common in deer but doesn't affect them the same way.

Also, is it just me, or have a lot of the weird hunting videos involved some measure of french in them? Either they're in the woods a lot more, or there are a load more rednecks there.

In the NB / Gaspé peninsula area, there is a huge number of Moose and that's mostly from this region that the "dumb" videos seems to come.
Aslo, this video is old, at least two years old.

I thought exactly the same as you guys first time I saw this; who is stupid enough to stand behind such beast? - It's something I personally avoid.... was it a moose, a horse or a cow...
