Okay I bought the C -18 off of CST Grad C.Nixon for a very good price. I am really liking this
Rifle even thinking of bedding it into A-5 so I can choose between PGW chassis or
traditional stock to suit my mood
Here is my initial testing in a controlled setting at 300m
anything less would be ###!
My set up is as follows PGW C-18 topped with NF 5.5-22x56, NF rings, Harris Bi-pod and
Holland scope level. Ammo factory 168 gr Sierra MK crimped necks run out varied from
.003"-.005". First group was shot around 7am Sunday morning 5 shots at 300m light breeze
153 degrees from left - right group measured .245 MOA. The next group was the same factory ammo
shot at 11am winds were gusting 15 km and mirage was bad I had a tough time holding vertical on
the orange square. Winds were still left-right 153 degrees about .45 MOA 10 shots at 300m goup was
2.552" or .780 MOA the mirage messed up my vertical due to not being able to keep precise repeatable
hold. I have played with this rifle on steel at 800m with impressive results now I gotta nail down some
good hand loads!
