PGW coyote

I have a number of reviews here of the Coyote. Take away message: PGW are awesome to deal with; the rifles are very, very accurate and they are also very robust. My current Coyote ( in .308 ) equals in accuracy my F/TR rig which is a Barnard/Krieger. Resale is also excellent.

Other than the Coyote being one of the best short action tactical/target rifles you can buy, there isn't much more to be said about them. And I'm not trying to be arrogant, just saying it as it is. I've owned one for 6 or 7 years now and I'm very pleased with its accuracy, fit/finish, and the support from PGW. Are you going with the folding stock or the A5?

I don't have one but the couple I looked at appeared to be a well made and solid product, I like their action design, and its always nice to support Canadian manufacturers.

why would that be a drawback?

I find that for positional shooting, it gets in the way, its a single stack mag that can't be top loaded from the port, if using the rifle for precision rifle competitions, there are timed courses of fire that require more than 8 rds which require a mag change, I also found the mag to be loose and rattled quite a bit which is not the end of the world though. Again, these are my opinions.
