Curious to see who in the area might have one? I have an older timberwolf and would just like to see what the modern production qualities are. Primarily looking at how the action feels and fitment and finish.
I'm in no way shape or form questioning or doubting PGW's work, as I am a die-hard fan and absolutely adore mine. What I am wanted to see is what the differences are going to be between Generations since I'm looking into ordering a Coyote action to build my own. For starters what I do know is that they no longer go with the bolt Wing safety, instead they have adopted a Remington 700 style safety which I do question but they do know what they're doing. I've also noticed when it comes to the chassis there is a difference in older to newer as the newer ones are more sharp-edged and square while the older ones are softer and round.
To give you an idea of what I plan on doing, I want a PGW Coyote action, Gaaillard 1.5"DO 26" barrel, using their proprietary magazines and I plan on doing something interesting with the stock. Optics will probably be either my old PMII or another Arken. 6.5cm build.
