Good post Steve. It is hard to please everyone!

Hopefully you guys can find some time to put a note on your site. I know the topic has come up a few times in my circles.....and the contract has always been mentioned.... In general, we sometimes have a hard time appreciating the sacrifices and the broad spectrum of work required to do what PGW has done. Hopefully, things will start to slow down and you can start enjoying things again....

I tried ording a set of TSR rings from PGW back in August by email and phone with no reply at all. When I never heard anything for a month I posted some wanted adds on gunnutx, long range hunting and snipers hide forums and ended up buying a slightly used set for half price.;)
I guess I'm just a little pissed that I sat around waiting for a month when all it would take is an hour to post something on the web site to say they are not taking orders. I don't think their time is worth any more than mine but I guess that's not how they see it.

Whwn you have all them gov't folks blowing hot air up your ass, looking for somthing free for themselves, it's hard to remember where you came from.Too bad.Mark

Wow Steve
I hope it all works out for you. Sounds like you need a vacation. I am sure that all of us who want to buy one of your fine rifles will wait. My list is so large for firearms I want to own that I will just start on the next one and come back to PGW when you folks are ready. Thanks for letting the firearms community know.

Thanks partner...we try...........

I've met Steve once at a local shoot. Sometime during the day he hands me a $3000.00 plus rifle and says try it out. I've never done any serious shooting past 100yds but that day shot a 1.7" group at 200 yards. he's one of the most personable gunnutz you will ever meet. So if my past week at work is anything like what he goes through ever day then I'll gladly give him all the slack he needs......Bob

As a person involved with military business, I am reluctant to comment about PGWDTI, but this thread may be appropriate. Briefly, I have been working with DND snipers towards adopting a Mediem Range Sniper Rifle System (MRSR) for years. At my 2nd or 3rd attendence at the CAD Intl. Sniper Concentration, I met Steve and Ross who immediatly gained attention with the stunning accuracy and technically accomplished Timberwolf. When the final competition for the MRSR was announced, I had the pleasure to work with most of the majot players in the sniper rifle game. Despite their position as the novice entry, it became apparent that Ross could handle the paperwork as well as Steve could build the rifles. One competitor, an engineer, complained of having to send 12 lbs of papers to PWGSC. Without comment, I knew that he had lost as 12 lbs. of paper is not even a start in responding to this endeavour. Ross and Steve beat the best in the world and I am happy to be associated with winners.

I speak for Nammo Lapua Oy in this project and look forward to further successes with the world's finest sniper rifle system(Timberwolf-Lapua).

My involveent with PGW has only been as a spectator (got to tour the shop and meet the guys when I was in Winnipeg working one time, that was interesting, thanks). But guys, get a little perspective. This is a small company trying very hard to fulfill the governments contract as well as keep thier business afloat in times which aren't very good for gun related shops. Yes, your rings or whatever might be of vital importance to you, but not to the rest of the world. If we have to take a back seat while they outfit OUR troops, that's perfectly reasonable. The contract wil be fulfilled soon, and they will go back to working on our toys. Relax, and accept it as the way business in the real world sometimes works. - dan

I was lucky enough to get invited in and showed around the shop while I was going to University in Winnipeg. Mighty nice of them to do for a guy who barely scrounged up enough cash to buy himself a $200 Garand.

locking the thread now as I think it's all be discussed as much as needed. Steve can always unlock it if he likes.
