I need some one to tell me what I am looking for...... I have a 1944 longbranch with a 5C rear sight. I also have the PH-1 front globe. How the heck to I get the front sight on the barrel? Is there a band or adapter? If so where could someone pick something like this up. I have never seen a picture so I am not sure what I am looking for.

If this is not the right front sight.... or there is a better one let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hello Sir on my No 4 rifles I have the FS22a Parker Hale sight on a normal front sight base. But the ears are cut off the sight protector so it will fit. Also I have one with a smaller lyman tunnel front sight that fits.

You need special base to mount your front sight. Can you measure the sight dovetail and I'll see what I have.

A.J. Parker 'Matchmaker' sight with the modified version of the (solid) wartime utility base, with the standard base on the right.

Sorry i wish I could remember my photo bucket password.... This one is like the picture but it has a large rim at the back and the dove tail is the other way around. You could mount it where the scope goes per say. Or a female dove tail if that makes sense.
