phantom front sight

ok guys i know phantom mods and tunes have been covered time and again in great detail but the one thing im not sure about is the front sight, is it just glued on or is there something else im not seeing?
i want to remove it and i dont see any screws or anything like that so before i go to plan B (brute force) i thought i would ask.
