Phase Line Green Tactical will be holding a 2 Day Pistol Course at the Victoria Fish and Game Protective Association on May 12-13, 2018.

Course Description:

This course focuses on the development of accuracy and speed during the conduct of various shooting scenarios. Skills development will focus on fluid drawing and target engagement, multiple target engagement, shooting on the move and from various positions as dictated by the environment. This course will be of special value to the competitive shooter who wishes to build on their library of shooting skills.


Required equipment:
Reliable pistol and at least 3 magazines
Holster that covers the trigger guard, sturdy belt and at least 2 magazine pouches
700 rounds of reliable ammunition
Hearing protection, eye protection and a baseball cap
Clothing suitable for inclement weather
Water and snacks
Pen and pad if you wish to take notes (always a good idea).

Just a few days away!

The club opens at 8:30 am with shooting allowed to start at 9:00am. If you aren't already a member of VFG please wait at the entrance to the club (in the parking area beside the caretakers house) at 8:45am so you can follow us down to the range for a 9:00am start. There is a locked gate into the Multipurpose range so we need to let you in if you aren't already a member. We will be located on Bay 8.

Directions to Victoria Fish Game

The club is located a short 20 minute drive north of Victoria. Travel north from Victoria on the Trans Canada Highway #1 to the top of Malahat Mountain. Turn right on to Holker Place, and go 100 meters to the property entrance. Holker Place is approximately 1 kilometer past Shawnigan Lake Road.

The Multi Purpose range has a porta john for washroom facilities. You need to pack in your lunch and bring lots of water, etc. I also recommend bringing knee pads of some sort because of the terrain. It's not going to rain, (but bring your rain gear just in case).

^^ It was a great course, and a great group of shooters. It was a pleasure to spend two days with everyone. The weather was phenomenal for mid May!
