Phase Line Green Tactical - Carbine 2 Day - Victoria Fish and Game - October 1-2

Let me know. I'm down for the next session.

I can probably get some more guys from the unit to jump in.

Cheers,
D.

D'oh. Full up, that's what I get for waiting. Good to see there's sufficient interest to sell it out though! French and I are interested in another weekend if the demand supports it.

Also, any plans for a Low Light at Abbotsford this year?

Just over a week away!

The club opens at 8:30 am with shooting allowed to start at 9:00am. If you aren't already a member of VFG please wait at the entrance to the club (in the parking area beside the caretakers house) at 8:45am so you can follow us down to the range for a 9:00am start. There is a locked gate into the Multipurpose range so we need to let you in if you aren't already a member. We will be located on Bay 7.

Here is the address and directions to the club for the non-local participants:

700 Holker Place, Malahat BC, V9B 2V5

Directions to Victoria Fish Game

The club is located a short 20 minute drive north of Victoria. Travel north from Victoria on the Trans Canada Highway #1 to the top of Malahat Mountain. Turn right on to Holker Place, and go 100 meters to the property entrance. Holker Place is approximately 1 kilometer past Shawnigan Lake Road and is opposite the turnoff to Spectacle Lake Provincial Park.

The Multi Purpose range has a porta john for washroom facilities. You need to pack in your lunch and bring lots of water, etc. I also recommend bringing knee pads of some sort because of the terrain. It's not going to rain, (but bring your rain gear just in case).

Get on it. You've got the cool gear, time to get some professional instruction and learn or maintain the skills to run it!

^^This. I see so many folks at the range with the best kit and absolutely no idea how to run it properly. Earl teaches you skills you can take from the course and implement in your practice sessions to continue to improve yourself as a shooter.

Many thanks to Earl and a great group of students at the course this weekend.

We had rain and sun and everything in between, including a LLama who stopped by to observe the fun.

Earl put on another great course with some great new drills and some new accuracy standards that really challenged even experienced students. We had 9 repeat students and 1 new student which I think is a testament to the quality of Earl's work.

It was fun to shoot with everyone again!

Big credit due to you too, thanks for arranging the event venue and targets etc. The addition of the plastic covers was a good move!

Earl is a star instructor, and after a couple of hours with him you realize your limitations pretty quickly and what you need to do to sort it.

Looking forward to the next one.

Candocad.
