Registered. Hook you gonna look after my 6 again and give me those good hand signals since I'm going deaf? Also paging SWL Wildcat

If SWL Wildcat shows up, there will be no room for anyone else to park their trailer.

LOL. There's even less room in the parking lot now since the new outhouse and sidewalk went in. We can find room for everyone, even if some have to go into the open area south of the parking lot. Actually, other than not having access to electricity, that's a nicer spot.

Well I'm not sure if I know any good hand signals. Know a few bad ones though.

Yes you do. I'm pretty sure you're signaled me with them a few times!

They start with the hand signals, move on to trading favourite new recipes, and after exchanging tips on creating memorable holiday centerpieces, they usually get around to the shooting.

Working in the oil patch can have side effects.:D

question,

will this be close range or medium range we will be training at for the carbine course, ie: would redots work better then a 1-4x scope setup or what is prefered ? just curious as I have aimpoint m4s, h1 or a nxs 1-4x compact.

also for my training partner, would an sks be ok to bring ? he is pretty good with those 5 round stripper clips.

Guys, this course is about quality of your shooting, not the quantity of rounds fired. I teach that every shot counts and I teach how to make that happen.

As to distances, the majority of rounds fired will be at intermediate distances and we will move back as far as the range confines permit. If it was me taking the course, I would run the gun that I would most likely use the most. I focus on consistency of platform, consistency of manipulation and skills that work regardless of the firearm or distance. I also teach that you need to learn the limitations and expectations of your gun at various distances, under various conditions and from various positions.

So, run your "Go-to" gun.
