Phat 30 bullets? 303 where do you get them?

Yesterday, I got email from Larch Valley Enterprise that they received their shipment of Woodleigh bullets from Australia - at least yesterday, he had .312" 174 grain Weldcore PPSN in stock.

I had seen it sold out at all the stores and no longer showing on CamPros website. I had hoped they just dialed back to meet demand of the "big 3" during this supply shortage, but I guess this proves me wrong. Sucks because it was a great price for projectiles for 303

Agreed.

For cheap target practice, get a box of plated campro 32 bullets, 115gr cost 50$ for 500!
I load it with trail boss or red dot. Cost less than 4$ a box of 20. Can't beat that!
I use the same bullets for my arisaka, and my mosin.

I would have never thought of that. Do you load to same COL, and if so, you have enough neck tension with so little bullet in the case?

There's no possible way you would be able to get the same oal in some loads. These are low velocity and low pressure so not critical for length.

If you wanted to you might be able to load for same case capacity by matching the position of the bullet base in the neck.

DiMP - There was a time when it was recommended that a bullet be seated into the case neck at least one caliber deep. But, can see, for example, that the 123 grain for the SKS cartridge went their own way on that - seems to go "bang" and sometimes can hit things that you aim at. Will be similar for you with the 115 grain handgun bullets - if seated to just be "holding in by toe nails", likely will have challenges to feed from magazine and not bend or fall off. Or vice versa - might have them seated so deeply that the feed ramp does not handle them well. Most No. 4 Lee Enfield rifles sort of designed to handle pointy 174 grain full metal bullets - as you stray from that, can expect feeding issues to appear...

I load my campro 115gr as far as possible.
I have used 10gr red dot or 13-15gr of trail boss in my no.4, arisaka and Pu sniper with very good accuracy! 2" to 4" groups at 100m with the right load. About the same as the full power loads.
I have noticed that if the velocity is up to 1600 fps the accuracy goes down.
1300-1400 seems the best.
I have to use my 400 or 500m sight at 100m.
Fun, relatively quiet, and cheap little load!
