Pheasant hunting around Vernon, BC?

This will be a shot in the dark, but does anyone happen to know of any pheasant hunting spots near Vernon, BC?

Been a long time since I lived there, but I found the most birds east of Vernon to Lavington. Coldstream Ranch was the only access I had and only because I had a friend. That's all private and the adjacent public land isn't really desirable pheasant habitat. Good luck fella. I hope you find some access somewhere in there but I'm not betting on it.
 
Thanks, everyone. I'm still hoping to find some private land where the owner is open to letting a couple of guys and a dog chase up some birds. Fingers crossed!

Forget about Vernon load up and head for Alberta. lots of birds release sites, ducks and geese and they
like hunters for the most part and you'll have lots of B.C. Hunters to talk to. three trailers pulled into the camp today from bc and I talked to three guys from the vancouver island yesterday in the field.Its really too bad BC hasn't done something with the pheasant hunting to promote tourism I've got two other buddies and their wives here with me and with the wives shopping and us hunting we leave a fare amount of cash behind. sorry I guess this turned into a bit of a rant
 
Yeah, the railroad tracks are good. My dad and I walk them sometimes. I'm just hoping to find some local Vernon Gun Nutter who'd be willing to give us permission to walk his fields. And thanks for the tip about Alberta. Sadly, I just don't have time to get away right now. I need to find a local spot or two that we can hunt for a few hours every weekend.
