Has anybody tried getting pictures of the bore of a rifle? It is not easy!
This is an early 1940s Model 94, 30-30. In the first picture, what looks like a hollow point bullet about to get you, is, I guess, some type of reflection of the muzzle. I put a layer of white cloth in the chamber with a bore light behind it.
The second one had much less lighting, just an overhead florescent on an open acion with white cloth in it, but leaves the rifling too dark.
The couple dozen in between these two I didn't like, either!
I'm going to try some larger calibres, might be easier. Give it a try, maybe we can exchange ideas and come up with some good way of getting bore pictures. I imagine EE buyers would like a good look at the bore.
