Pic of my ladys new WILDCAT!

No scratches. Just camera angles. It's totally mint.

I went with a TASCO 6x24x42 with the illuminated Mil-Dot reticle and matte finish.
I'll post info on the mount shortly with pics!

Looks like a nice gun from those pics. The only thing I noticed that may cause you problems is where you have your rings on the scope. The rings shouldn't touch the area that houses your turrets. You may want to move them. Just a suggestion. ck

Not my rifle, and I don't know much about scoping one, but can you explain why this is? I'm just curious for future knowledge...

Pope face, I am not an authoritarian on the issue, but I strongly suspect it has to do with vibrations (recoil) more directly affecting the reticles. There is a warning to the same affect that I made concerning the reticle housing, here: http://www.texasguntalk.com/forums/hunting-articles/4117-scopes-how-mount-scope-setup.html
It was a gunsmith who first mentioned it to me, as I had done the same thing on my rifle. I moved it so that I wouldn't damage my scope.
Your local gunsmith may be able to give you a better answer.
