Nice to buy a rifle from a fella unseen and his word in regards to the condition of said rifle is right on the money. Just got it in the mail a few days ago. Beside having nice wood, the recent news of Remington aquiring Marlin has made me happy that i picked up this presafety jobby.

Thats a 10-4 on the scope. I have a Williams Firesite system and an Ashley XS peep site system in the gunroom. Not sure which way to go.

Don't know if its just the pic, but if that wood is as red as it looks, would it ever be sweet on a stainless action In any case , very nice rifle , thats a given!!!
