I didn't start out as a bayonet collector but realized I had amassed a couple of Rubbermaid bins of them over the years. I always tried to pick up ones that were unsharpened and in good shape.

While cleaning up junk in the basement I pulled some out that I thought you would find interesting. No particular theme, just ones that were unusual or in nice shape. Hope you enjoy.

Clockwise from one o'clock:

Enfield No 5 Mk II
Tokarev SVT40
Swedish M1914 for M94 Carbine (not rare but beautifully made and finished)
Enfield No 7 Mk I (L) (I think the Brits were over-compensating for issuing a tent peg prior to this)
Eqyptian Hakim
Finnish M1962 (well designed and USEFUL, unlike most bayonets)
Enfield No 4 Mk II* (only interesting because it was still in the wrap)
Norwegian Krag M1894/14 converted post war to fit the M1 Carbine (note muzzle ring added and US scabbard hanger)
Israeli Uzi SMG (always gives me a chuckle)
Johnson M1941 (below is Italian Carcano M1938 Folding Bayonet)
US M1917 (nice original shape)
Stoner KCB-70M1
German 84/98 (very late war with riveted grips)
German 84/98 (beautiful condition and all matching)
German 84/98 (ditto)
German 84/98 converted by Norwegians to fit the M1 Garand! (note attachment for Garand gas plug and US belt hanger)
Israeli M1949 (copy of German 84/98)

12 o'clock towards the centre:
US Springfield M1905
US Springfield M1905/42 (parkerized/plastic grips)
WWI German 98/05 ("Butcher" Blade)
Belgian M1924 Long Export (Stone Mint)
Venezuelan M1949 for FN49 (exactly the same as a standard Belgian M1924 Long finished in the white, except it has a larger muzzle ring to fit the muzzle compensator peculiar to the Vennie 7mm FN49. Not rare but hard to find for some reason)
Belgain M1949 Short Export for FN49 (Luxembourg contract, mint)
Ditto for Egyptian FN49 (mint)
German M1898 NA
Japanese Type 30 Arisaka "Last Ditch" (squared pommel, no blade fuller and wooden scabbard bound with twine)

How much did that German quillback in the very middle cost you?
I've got one in equally as pristing condition.

I'm not much of an authority on value, mine has been sitting in a bin for 20 years, I think it was 75.00.

Check yours to see if it is a German 98 or a Peruvian M1909, they are identical. Key identifier of the Peruvian is a coat of arms on the end of the pommel vice Imperial German proofs.
