Picatinny rail for lower handguard on an AR available to install a bipod

A question if I can on installing a rail on the lower handguard(SW MP) in this case.
The slot on the stock handguard tapers as you go towards the front, so when I tried to install a grovetec rail (GTSW-192) it doesnt fit.
so wonder if anyone has installed a 2-3 inch long rail that does fit this slot?

You can jury rig something with a piece of rail screws and washers or Harris bipod has a flange sling stud adapter that allows you to attach a bipod to your AR.

Maybe grab a Magpul MOE handguard? It has MLOK slots on the bottom so you can mount your rail to it. Usually pretty cheap too.
