I have the same Picatinny rail model on 3 tikkas, as follows:

No problem and very satisfied, solid and all. The only thing is the rifle open sights on the one I hunt with are covered almost ~ 90% by the rail ... not practical. I hardly see them.
I saw that there are rails with a groove in the middle, precisely to have access to the sights.

I use the same scope with qd rings for my 3 rifles and would like to know:
If I buy another picatinny rail from an other brand (like Recknagel or EGW), will I still be able to swap my scope without touching the rings spacing.
In other words, if the rail is designed in accordance with Mil-Spec standards, the slots will be spaced with the same tolerances as the 2 others?
