Picatinny Rings

I know that Leupold rings will fit on Picatinny bases, but there seems to be a lot of extra room in the cross slots, the rings have to pushed forward for the transverse bars to make good contact with the front ot the slots.

I'm assuming that the Picatinny rings have wider bars that might not fit into the Weaver-style bases?

I believe you are referring to the Leupold QRW bases and no, according to Leupold the rings won't fit.

I have the QRW/PRW bases on my Remington and used the TPS "W" series rings from ### International......couldn't be happier!

I would suggest you go that route rather than buying Picatinny rings. I'm not 100% sure but again, I don't think they will fit.
