Whats the ammo availability like for that calibre? Is it non existant like the 6.5prc was a few years ago?

Yeah it's pretty hard to find right now as anytime someone gets it in, it sells out extremely fast. Hornady is currently the only one making ammo and reloading dies. No brass available yet that I can find.

I’ve been playing around with mine for a few months now.
Having a heck of a time trying to find a load it likes.

A fine-looking rifle. Details? How does it sling the boo-lats?

Christensen Arms Mesa Long Range
7mm PRC
Nightforce Rings
20 MOA Talley Rail
Magazine Conversion
Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56
Harris Bipod

Bought it yesterday and had it glass bedded by our gunsmiths. Hoping to try it out tomorrow.

It is out there but it may take a while to find in stock. The ELD-M stuff is easier to find than ELD-X. It was still in stock a few places the last time I looked. Prophet River also has some Redding dies in 7prc still in stock. I haven’t seen brass in stock anywhere yet. I’ll just reload the factory Hornady stuff until I can get my hands on some Peterson brass

Bore sighted the 7mm PRC at 100. Then moved out to 200 and pulled a decent five round group. Dialed my scope over and fired one more round that hit dead center of the target. Now w it's time to push it out to 1000+

My 7mm PRC is wearing a new suit. An XLR Evolution Chassis reared it's head and I figured I'd give it a try.

Gorgeous rig, 7mm PRC seems like its the absolute business and is quite literally in the sweet spot between 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC. I'll definitely be following your updates on how you like it.
