Picked up a CZ 550 Safari in 458 Win Mag!

So I purchased a CZ 550 Safari in 458 Win Mag yesterday. The Fiance and I went out today to sight it in. Shoots great, the recoil really isnt that bad. It kicks more then my 375H&H Mag, but not much. Im really happy with this rifle!! Im going to cut the chamber deeper to 458 Lott and put a barrel band on it. All in all a great rifle! Cant wait till im feeling rich and pick one up in 505 Gibbs. I will be building myself a 550 safari in 460 weatherby Mag. When I figure out how to post Pictures, il post some of the rifle and the groups I get with it.

Awesome !..... sounds like you are having fun with it, every 'nutter' should have a 458 at least once.
You might already know this but the 458 Win Mag and I'm sure also the Lott will be great cast bullet shooters since they share the same bore as the 45-70 and can use any cast bullet meant for that old timer and in doing so makes for a fun plinker.
My 458 shoots more cast than jacketed...

Im going to sign up with photobucket tomorrow after I order a 458 Lott reamer. Now on the topic of bigbore rifles, I had the Idea of starting a big bore rifle club. Would Anyone in the Calgary area be interested? Im thinking of just a fun shoot/ meet for anyone that shoots 375 and above rifles. It would be a get out and shoot big bore rifles, talk about big bores, and just trade ideas of cartridges, rifles. If there are any takers on the idea, PM me id like to learn more about them and gets some good ideas for a winter project.
