I thought I would share that I'm picking up a 1945 Tokarev TT33 Pistol tomorrow.....Can't wait to get it home and give it a good clean before shooting it. Already got some surplus ammo to use when the gun is cleaned and ready. I've heard they're pretty fun to shoot with sometimes flames coming out!

They love spitting fire and got a heck of a snap to that round unlike even a Glock 17 with 147grain ammo.

You can really feel the speed in that round going off.

Been toying with the idea myself.
Where are you getting yours from?

My only concern is the comfort issue I keep reading. I guess that's the opportunity cost of owning one!

You'll enjoy the TT 33. Mine isn't the most accurate pistol I own, but it sure snaps! The grip is a bit short if you have bigger hands but you get used to it.

Congrats on your new purchase.

i have a 1947 and it is kick *ss. I was at the range yesterday and fired out over 250 rounds. No ftf fte. What a sweet heart. That 7.62 round puts out a big bang!!! When you get use to it and find out where it is shooting its a good plinker.was hitting gong 2/8 at 50 yards (once or twice), almost 4/8 at the 20 yard! Best surplus handgun i have owned. Ammo is cheap cheap and pleantiful. Cycled it fast, cycled slow this thing is boom proof for being 65 years old lol. Its hard to believe that WWII ended 67 years ago.....Its not that long ago boys and girls!!!!!
